We had the pleasure of discovering McFadden Heating & Cooling on a Saturday night, in the worst snowstorm and coldest night on record. I could hear bad shaking metal on concrete in the cellar as it also boomed, banged and coughed. Then, to my horror a flame ran up the living room wall through the new thermostat and with one last piercing banging episode... it was dead! I called McFadden's emergency hotline where I reached Tim and his calm, professional manner that he carries always. A few seconds later, his top repairman walked through my door, but not before stopping to remove his boots; an action I thought lost in this new age of every man for himself. Not with McFadden's. Respect of customer is their motto. 1/2 hour later, the clunker fixed long enough to hang on. Tim came for a visit the next day and spent time helping us work out how we could have the model of our dreams affordably and in tune with a very tight budget. He worked his magic and our new top-of-the-line two-stage Lennox furnace was installed two weeks later. McFadden's is a name we will never forget. The name carries honour, integrity, trust, care of reputation, value and loyalty in their work to find ways to help customers get what they really want at a price they can really afford – always with a smile. McFadden's is the old fashioned furnace company who have found a way to maintain honour, integrity and loyalty to customers that others say is impossible in this new world of rushing around. Tim himself, the head cat in a dog-eat-dog world.
